The Rhode Island Food Policy Council has created an interactive map of emergency and supplemental food sites throughout Rhode Island. The map features SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) retailers, school meal pickup locations, WIC vendors, food pantries and senior meal sites. The new map from the Rhode Island Food Policy Council, created by Jamie Mernick, is updated regularly and fully searchable by town. RIFPC will continue to update the map, and it’s also creating a Local Food Resource Map, which will be available soon.

RI Food Policy Council was established on Food Day in 2011; since then, they have had a mission to promote a more accessible, equitable and sustainable food system in Rhode Island. RIFPC works to coordinate a statewide collaboration of diverse, committed and engaged stakeholders from all parts of the food system.

For more information or to see the locations in your town visit the Rhode Island Food Policy Council website.
