Local Farm Food Delivery and Pickup Options
You can still support your local farmer by ordering home delivery, placing prepaid pick-up orders or visiting farm stores.
Local farms and organizations are stepping up to sell and deliver wholesome local food to people in quarantine during this time of great stress. Support Rhode Island farms by ordering home delivery through Farm Fresh RI and WhatsGood, or visit local farm stores at Deep Roots Farm, Blackbird Farm and Pat’s Pastured. Having trouble finding meat at your local supermarket? These farms can help! Other local farms are also continuing to set up their neighborhood food stands to bring you the freshest products that they can offer.
Farm Fresh RI is bringing the farmers market to you during the Coronavirus outbreak. They’re inviting the community to use the Market Mobile wholesale service to get farm fresh food delivered straight to your home. They are currently only delivering to Providence, Pawtucket and the East Bay. Deliveries will be dropped at your doorstep to avoid unnecessary contact. If you live outside of these areas, they encourage you to place an order for curbside pickup from their packhouse located in the Hope Artiste Village building in Pawtucket. Minimum of $60 is required for both pickup and delivery. All orders up to noon tomorrow will receive deliveries by Thursday. For more information on how to place an order visit, farmfreshri.org/homedelivery.
