Rhode Island Schools and Restaurants Offering Free Lunches for Students
Students who rely on school lunches can pick up grab-and-go meals while schools are closed in the state.
All schools across the state of Rhode Island are closed for at least the next week, and many students rely on the school system for lunch. Here are spots (including local restaurants) offering free grab-and-go lunches to children across the state, Monday through Friday. Any child under the age of eighteen is eligible for a free meal, although the child must be present as meals cannot be given to adults on their behalf.
