The map features SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) retailers, school meal pickup locations, WIC vendors, food pantries and senior meal sites. The new map from the Rhode Island Food Policy Council, created by Jamie Mernick, is updated regularly and fully searchable by town. RIFPC will continue to update the map, and it’s also creating a Local Food Resource Map, which will be available soon.
