The Guild PVD Popup Beer Garden Opens on the Pedestrian Bridge

The beer garden is located in the Providence Innovation District Park, where guests can sip craft beer and seltzer brewed by the Guild Brewing Company while noshing on food truck fare.

The Guild PVD is finally returning for the summer in downtown Providence. After only being open for a limited time last September and October, the outdoor beer garden is officially opening for business on Thursday, May 27.

Last year, The Guild partnered with Rhode Island Commerce and the I-195 Redevelopment District to expand into Providence with the Guild PVD. This summer, the beer garden is located in the Providence Innovation District Park, where guests can sip craft beer and seltzer brewed by  the Guild Brewing Company brewed at the Guild’s facility on Main Street in Pawtucket.

“This year, we are looking forward to offering our customers longer hours, higher capacity, and — of course — the chance to enjoy our space during the beautiful summer months,” says Jeremy Duffy, co-founder of the Guild.

The Guild PVD will open from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday, noon-8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and noon-6 p.m. on Sunday. Food trucks will also rotate in the lineup on site every day that the Guild PVD is open.

“The Guild PVD shows the potential that the Providence Innovation and Design District has as a hub for community-focused business ideas,” says Bob Davis, chairman of I-195 Redevelopment District Commission. “We are excited to welcome The Guild PVD back to Providence, and we look forward to seeing Rhode Islanders enjoy this space and support this small business throughout the summer.”
