Rhode Island Monthly’s on the Move

In six months, we’ll be in Pawtucket.

Rhode Island Monthly is moving north, seven miles to be exact. Six months from now, we’ll be leaving Providence for spacious new digs at 560 Mineral Spring Avenue in Pawtucket, once home to Colonial Mills textile company.

RIM, and its twenty-four person staff, will take up the ground floor, roughly 8,000 to 9,000 square feet.  According to the building’s owner, Jonathan Savage, the one-time manufacturing space will also house live-work spaces for artists on upper floors, similar to his property across the street at Lorraine Fabrics. The complex is also home to Mixed Magic Theatre and a couple of small food and beverage start-ups, including Crooked Current Brewery, White Dog Distilling, Ja Patty Jamaican patty company, as well as a new diner, dubbed Miss Lorraine, so all our needs will be covered. We look forward to being a part of the Pawtucket community.
