Sample Great Food and Drink at Thursday’s Lorraine Mills Mill Crawl
The building is home to Crooked Current Brewery, White Dog Distilling, Ja Patty, Ming’s Asian Street Food, Just Like Nana’s and Cakes by Eboni.
Thursday, August 25 is the night to sample from a bunch of food and drink businesses that call Pawtucket’s Lorraine Mills home (Hi, neighbors! We live here too!). The building is headquarters to nearly a dozen startups that serve everything from fried chicken sandwiches, cupcakes and Jamaican patties to rugelah, craft beer and whiskey. And Thursday night, for $30, you can show up from 5 to 8 p.m. and sample from half a dozen of them, including Crooked Current Brewery, White Dog Distilling, Ja Patty, Ming’s Asian Street Food, Just Like Nana’s and Cakes by Eboni. You don’t have to purchase tickets in advance, you can just arrive and buy a ticket from any vendor, then make your way around the crawl.
We’ve seen a few businesses tease what they will be serving. Here’s what’s on deck:
White Dog Distilling is serving sample-sized Painkillers, while supplies last.
Crooked Current Brewery will serve craft beer.
Ming’s Asian Street Food is serving Korean tacos and more.
Ja Patty is serving Jamaican meat and veggie patties.
Cakes by Eboni is serving sweet treats.
Just Like Nana’s serves cinnamon braids, rugelah and other baked goods.
Proceeds from ticket sales will go toward Lorraine Mill Fest which is happening in September 9 from 5-10 p.m. and September 10 from 1-5 p.m.
