Easter is hopping on in early and that leaves the hostess squirming for time. Why not eliminate the stress of planning and take the time to enjoy the family? We organized a whole spread of brunch and dinner choices featuring some of the best dining experiences throughout Rhode Island.

1. 15 Point Road

15 Point Road, a restaurant along the Sakonnet River in Portsmouth, will open early on Easter, with service from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. The prix-fixe menu includes a variety of seafood along with other options. 2. Angelo’s Restaurant

In celebration of upcoming Easter, starting Sunday, April 14, Angelo’s Restaurant in Providence will be giving out Easter eggs to the first 1,000 patrons of the week. While some eggs will contain small Easter surprises, 100 eggs will be filled with special Angelo’s gifts like complimentary gift cards, coupons for a rice pie or free kids’ meal and swag, worth a total of $950. Some lucky guests will win old punch tickets good for $9.50 signature Angelo’s dishes, to kick off the Federal Hill establishment’s ninety-fifth birthday in September. The birthday celebration, including the $9.50 menu, will start the day after Easter and last all summer. 3. Bluefin Grille

Join the Easter Bunny himself for a buffet at the Bluefin Grille, located in the Providence Marriott. The menu, created by executive chef Franco Paterno, includes fresh salad, seafood and main dishes like roast leg of lamb and sautéed chicken breast. 4. Brix

Executive chef Andy Teixeira and his team have created a special menu for Easter at Newport Vineyard’s Brix Restaurant, available from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Share the sticky bun basket and baked brie platter, or eat them all yourself. Large plates include options like Portuguese steak and eggs, Jonah crab cakes and beans and croquet madams. 5. Cara Restaurant at the Chanler

Experience a morning of fine-dining at Cara, a restaurant at the Chanler, a storied mansion and hotel on Newport’s cliff walk. The three-course Easter brunch, created by executive chef Matt Voskuil, is offered from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. for $75 per person. The menu includes sliced prosciutto, foie gras French toast and prime rib, among a variety of other choices. 6. Castle Hill Inn

Experience an elegant Easter brunch at Newport’s Castle Hill Inn. The waterfront restaurant will feature carving stations from noon to 6.30 p.m. The buffet includes starters, chef’s stations, main dishes (like chicken cordon bleu and brioche French toast) and dessert, for $82 for adults and $28 per child. 7. Chapel Grille

This church-turned-restaurant in Cranston is changing up its menu for Easter Sunday, from 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Entree options include penne vodka, seafood linguine, filet mignon, grilled swordfish and more. A children’s menu with options like chicken fingers and burgers will also be available. Prices vary. 8. Clarke Cooke House

Newport’s Clark Cooke House will be open for both breakfast and lunch on Easter Sunday. Two options are available in the morning: prix fixe for $23 or entree only for $17. Choose from several egg options, a brioche French toast or pick some seafood from the oyster bar. 9. The East End

Enjoy a taste of the East End at this Easter brunch. The meal, served from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., includes charcuterie boards, a raw bar, as well as classic breakfast favorites and a new twist on a Rhode Island classic: coffee milk French toast. 10. Eleven Forty Nine

Eleven Forty Nine, on the Warwick/East Greenwich line, is offering a contemporary Easter brunch from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Along with chef-prepared entrees, pastries and fresh fruit there will also be a Belgian waffle station, carving station and antipasto station. 11. George’s of Galilee

Take in the view of Block Island Sound during Easter brunch at George’s of Galilee. The buffet-style meal features some breakfast classics like scrambled eggs and bacon, as well as more savory options like bourbon-peach glazed ham and wild mushroom ravioli, with seatings at 10 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. A cold bar with fruit salad, charcuterie and local seafood rounds out the menu. 12. The Gulf Stream Bar and Grille

In between Providence and Newport for the holiday? Head to the Gulf Stream Bar and Grille in Portsmouth for Easter brunch. 13. Gurney’s Newport Resort and Marina

Head to Goat Island for Easter brunch and waterfront views at Gurney’s Newport Resort and Marina, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The buffet-style meal will include an omelet station, local seafood platters, charcuterie boards, maple-bourbon glazed ham and more. Finish off the meal with pastries and desserts, then help the kids search for eggs and take some photos with the Easter Bunny. 15. Johnny’s Newport

Take in historic Newport on Easter Sunday with a meal at Johnny’s at the Atlantic Resort. Named after John Clarke, the founder of the town, Johnny’s menu includes a variety of fresh New England fare. 18. Mill’s Tavern

Nestled at the foot of Providence’s historic College Hill, Mill’s Tavern is adding holiday specials to the regular menu for Easter. 19. Ocean House

Ocean House, an iconic and historic Rhode Island resort, will celebrate the weekend with a variety of events for children and adults alike. On Saturday, a children’s Easter tea, including an assortment of tea, finger sandwiches and desserts, will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. in the Seaside Ballroom. The Alice in Wonderland themed proper tea is $55 for adults and $35 for children ages four to twelve.
