Binge on Bivalves at Newport Oyster Festival

The Dish: On the Farm with Bluff Hill Cove Oyster Company

The oyster farm’s Winter Pearl and Gansett Point varieties are served at White Horse Tavern, Chair 5, Coast Guard House and George's of Galilee.

On a fall morning in late-September, Rhode Island Monthly headed to Harvey Cataldo’s oyster farm in Bluff Hill Cove on Point Judith Pond to see how he grows his two oyster varieties, Gansett Points and Winter Pearls.
