The awards program, a partnership between Rhode Island Monthly and the Rhode Island Foundation, recognizes individuals working to advance equity and promote diversity in the Ocean State.
Boston will host a selection of matches in the 2026 competition and Warren native John Rego designed the Official FIFA World Cup 26 Boston Host City Poster.
“It is a dream come true to have one of my favorite filmmakers making an original movie here in our beloved Ocean State,” says Steven Feinberg, the executive director of the Rhode Island Film and TV Office.
This fundraiser will support the development of an interactive exhibit called “Change the World,” part of the new Early Childhood Science Learning Center, opening in late 2026.
