It’s almost time, folks. Big stuffed bears and candy in heart-shaped boxes are starting to line the shelves of your local CVS, but we know you’re more original than that. Take a look at our list, make a reservation and impress your significant other (Don’t worry, we won’t tell them we helped.)

1. Rooftop at Providence G

Celebrate your loved one Valentine’s weekend with Rooftop at the Providence G. For only $50 a person, you can enjoy a pre-fixe Valentine’s Menu on February 14-15. For $20 more you two love birds can get optional wine pairings to go with your meal. 2. WINEterfest Speakeasy Soiree

Ever wondered what it would be like to enjoy dancing and drinks in the Prohibition-era? Listen to the music of Katie Kleyla and a speakeasy jazz band while you dance the night away. 7. Galentine’s Day Brunch

Don’t have a special someone in your life? No worries. On February 15 from 9 a.m.- 2p.m., head on over to Milk Money with your girlfriends and enjoy a bottomless brunch for $18.99. 11. Voodoo Valentine’s

From 9 p.m.-midnight Xaco Taco is inviting everyone to put a spell on their ex. There will be a handmade voodoo doll giveaway with the purchase of any menu special after 8 p.m. Welcome Boss Lady Tarot as she gives complimentary tarot card readings, and listen to music while playing skeeball. 17. Gracie’s Valentine’s Sucrée

Gracie’s is hosting a special love-themed edition of its Sucrée dessert series: Red Hot Valentine’s. Instead of on Valentine’s Day, it takes place on Sunday, Feb. 16 from 6 to 9 p.m. “Hot and spicy” is the theme of this sweet-focused dining experience for galentines, friends and lovers. Guests will taste a collection of savory hors d’oeuvres and dessert courses baked by executive pastry chefs Karissa Bednarz and Caitlyn McGuire paired with creative cocktails from the bar team. There will also be a photo booth and a special pop-up shop to benefit Australian wildlife featuring all local and handcrafted goodies and artworks. One hundred percent of the shop’s proceeds will go straight to the Australian Red Cross. Tickets to the event are $80 each.

18. Valentine’s Day Dinner at MainSail

Executive chef Garrett St. Amand of MainSail at the Newport Marriott has created an $80 three-course dinner for two, complete with a bottle of house wine. Savory appetizer choices like bacon pops and Cajun shrimp and sausage arancini and Italian-inspired desserts complement entrée choices including grilled filet with bacon-wrapped asparagus over cauliflower gratin or seafood cioppino. 19. Free movie tickets for couples married on Valentine’s Day

Showcase Cinemas Warwick, Quaker Lane, is offering free movie tickets to Love Story on February 12 for couples married on Valentine’s Day. To claim the two free tickets, couples must present a photo of their marriage license at the box office at Showcase Cinemas Warwick, Quaker Lane. Couples will also be treated to a complimentary food and drink combo offer of their choice.

20. Give Back to Boys and Girls Club at Sardella’s in Newport

Spend your Valentine’s Day dinner at a restaurant that gives back to the Newport community. Friday through Sunday, February 14-16, Sardella’s Ristorante Italiano in Newport is donating 20 percent of all dinner proceeds to the Boys and Girls Club of Newport County. The weekend is called, “From The Heart” and the donations support the mission of the Boys and Girls Club to inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need help most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens. In addition to executive chef Kevin Fitzgerald’s regular menu, Valentine’s specials will also be served. Sardella’s will be open regular dinner hours on Valentine’s weekend from 5 to 10 p.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

21. Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse and Wine Bar “Wine, Dine and Sparkle” Package

Fleming’s in Providence is offering an all-inclusive Valentine’s Day experience featuring a three-course dinner for two, premium Champagne and a special gift from David Yurman. “Wine, Dine and Sparkle” packages, priced from $500 to $1,000, are available from February 12-15, with a curated assortment of jewelry gift options. The indulgent feast includes crab and caviar blini; pear and pomegranate salad with blue cheese; and an entree choice of petite filet mignon with a choice of lobster tail scampi, crab-stuffed colossal shrimp scampi or twin pistachio-crusted lamb chops.
