When you take skin care as seriously as we do, you’re always on the hunt for the next best products to leave your skin feeling flawless. You know, the ones that give your face a warm, angelic glow.
What you put on your body is just as important as what you put in your body. And when you take skin care as seriously as we do, you’re always on the hunt for the next best products to leave your skin feeling flawless. You know, the ones that give your face a warm, angelic glow.
But perhaps the most difficult – and trying – thing is to test beauty products that not only work for you, but ones that are healthy and good for your skin, too. Over the past few years, people have become increasingly aware of the chemicals they are putting on their skin. The result? Store shelves have seen a rise in natural skincare products. That’s why we put together a list of Rhode Island businesses that offer the only products you will ever need for seriously flawless (and healthy!) skin.
Balanced, dry, oily or sensitive, whatever your skin type may be, this shop offers fine herbal skincare from the farm. (Talk about farm-to-face!). Farmaesthetics founder and formulator, Brenda Brock, is the daughter of a seventh-generation farming family from Texas. She first made her handmade herbal skincare preparations available to customers in the summer of 1999 at an organic farm stand in rural Rhody. Each and every skincare product is 100 percent natural, utilizes time-honored recipes for skin health and contains certified organic herbs, flowers, oils and grains from American family farms.
For oily skin: Fine Herbal Cleaner ($42).With only five ingredients, less really is more. This product is a results-oriented, antibacterial herbal formulation that thoroughly washes away impurities and excess oil, while serving to maintain your skin’s natural moisture and ph balance.
For dry skin: Nourishing Lavender Milk ($42). This light, luscious, all-over complexion lotion is gentle enough for everyday use on the face, yet powerful enough to use on even the driest skin conditions. The combination? A vibrant, clean and natural fragrance with skin-mending properties.
