Lifespan and the Ocean State Job Lot Charitable Foundation Host Fourth Food Distribution
Pallets of food, such as perishable and non-perishable goods, will be given out for free today at St. Michael's Church in Providence.
Lifespan and the Ocean State Job Lot Charitable Foundation are hosting a free food donation distribution today on October 14 from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. at St. Michael’s Church in Providence.
Lifespan and the Ocean State Job Lot Charitable Foundation are working together to ensure that our communities are provided with supplies to fight food security, especially as COVID-19 has made circumstances difficult.
Pallets of food, such as perishable and non-perishable goods, will be given out: milk, eggs, produce and more. Distribution can be picked up by families and individuals in need via “drive thru” along the church.
Everyone is welcome to attend the distribution, and face masks are required when picking up the food. Photos of participants should not be taken without their approval.
The address for St. Michael’s Church is 239 Oxford St. in Providence.
The distribution is in partnership with the Nonviolence Institute.
