Envision Nutrition Serves Shakes, Cheesecakes and Positive Affirmations
The nutrition club in Warwick offers delicious and nutritious treats with a side of good vibes.
Losing 100 pounds in ten months gave Jessica Mercedes the boost to get rid of another weight piled on her shoulders: her corporate job.
The Cranston native opened Envision Nutrition in the beginning of May 2021, offering healthy drinks and snacks made with the same products that helped her lose weight. A mother of two girls, Mercedes opened up the nutrition club not only to assist people in their own weight loss venture but to spend more time with her children.
“We try to serve everyone with a smile on our face,” says Mercedes. “It’s family owned between me and my sister, Fior, who works with me. We also have a younger sister, Rose, that helped open the club and used to work with us.” Her fiancé David also helps with orders and maintenance in the shop.
Envision Nutrition shakes and other treats are made from Herbalife protein products. The Biscoff cheesecake is one of the nutrition club’s most popular products, and the recently added waffles are quickly becoming another customer favorite. “The best part is you can take any shake and turn it into a waffle,” says Mercedes. It’s no surprise that the coffee ice cream flavor is one of their most sought-after shakes, along with Biscoff and peanut butter oreo.
As a strong believer of manifesting good vibes, exuding positivity in her club is one of Mercedes’ main goals alongside providing delicious and healthy products. “If you believe in something hard enough, I think the universe will give it to you, whether it’s positivity or negativity, it works both ways,” she says. Some days, she reads off hopes and affirmations written on slips of paper inside the Morning Manifestations box that customers help fill up.
Mercedes wants her business to be a safe and welcoming atmosphere for all visitors, especially during a time when everyone should be surrounded by upbeat energy.
“You never know what someone is going through. Just saying one nice thing could potentially save someone’s life or turn their life around,” says Mercedes. “Treat people the way you want to be treated because they could be experiencing stress, aggravation or loss of a family member.”
