Disney on Ice at Dunkin Donuts Center Through Sunday

Disney on Ice revisits favorite moments from Disney princesses, Toy Story, Frozen and Moana.

Disney on Ice at the Dunkin’ Donuts Center in Providence.

Make new family memories at Disney on Ice presents Celebrate Memories December 26 through 29 at Providence’s Dunkin’ Donuts Center. Mickey and Minnie Mouse take guests on a journey revisiting some of their favorite moments from treasured Disney films including Toy Story, Frozen and Moana. Audience members get to choose parts of the adventure in the interactive show that allows them to vote on Mickey and Minnie’s outfits and more. Both boys and girls (and adults) will be enthralled by the show, which includes plenty of action on ice skates, such as trapeze, aerial skills (by Ariel, no less), fireworks, high-flying spins and more.

The Feld Entertainment ice skating and music-filled performance includes scenes from Toy Story, Fantasia, the Little Mermaid, Tangled, Frozen, Moana, a synchronized skating scene of Disney princesses and Inside Out. Kiddos who love Anna and Elsa will be thrilled as the movie’s most popular songs are a part of the show (from the first Frozen), and Elsa’s castle is reimagined for the ice. Moana also has a large section devoted to the beautiful music from the movie. She travels across the ice in an amazing boat while interacting with the demigod, Maui.

The show has a nice message that will help kids appreciate the memories they have made and are making by seeing the show that night. Children are encouraged to make other people smile and do nice things for others, so they’ll leave with much more than an Olaf cup or soft Anna and Elsa toy (sometimes, you have to give in, am I right?)

Remaining performances include:

Saturday, December 28: 11 a.m., 3 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Sunday, December 29: 10 a.m., 2 p.m. and 6 p.m.

Tickets for Disney On Ice presents Celebrate Memories start at $15. All seats are reserved, and tickets are available at the Dunkin’ Donuts Center Box Office, at ticketmaster.com, or by calling 800-745-3000. For Group Sales, call 401-273-5000.
