CORE Fitness Offers Youth Focused Fitness Program
Register your kiddos for a summer session of fitness fun.
CORE is holding an outdoor fitness class for kiddos between the ages of ten to seventeen. Taught by Cristina Lima, the classes will focus on strength, agility, endurance and an overall fun take on fitness. Each class is limited to fifteen participants. The ten to thirteen-year-old group class will take place from 9-9:45 a.m. and the fourteen- to seventeen-year-old group will be held from 10-10:45 a.m. The fitness program will run for five weeks, meeting twice a week, for a total of ten classes. Classes will meet each Monday and Wednesday.
Denise Chakoian founder and owner of CORE, shares the sentiment behind starting this new youth program. “We thought it was really important to get kids outside since they have been in the house for months,” she says. “After sitting in front of a
computer or laptop for three months, we wanted to offer them a way to get out and get active.”
To register for the entire five-week fitness program, prepay registration is available for $200. If you are interested in having your child do a drop-in class, each class will cost $23 and must be signed up at least twenty-four hours in advance. If the weather does not permit, class will be rescheduled.
