Who doesn’t love a good burger and fries? While this COVID summer is one of backyard barbecues, change things up and chomp on a creatively topped burger from a local restaurant through outdoor dining or takeout options.

 

Providence Burger Bar

A burger is more than just a patty and bun, or at least, that’s what Providence Burger Bar believes. It’s your go-to place for delicious homemade burgers with menus for both craft burgers and a build-your-own option for variety.

How to dine: order online through their website with available curbside pickup. Dine-in and bar seating, outdoor seating is available.

Chomp Kitchen and Drinks

You’ll want to chomp down on this kitchen’s inventive burgers and sides because they’re seriously just that good. Chomp Kitchen and Bar offers a Mac n’ cheese burger, a bolognese burger and even a crab rangoon burger, as well as selections of craft beer and other tasty sandwiches.

How to dine: Both locations in Warren and Providence are open for takeout and outdoor dining by reservation, which can be made on the website.

Harry’s Bar and Burger 

If you like sliders but kicked up a notch in the flavor department, look no further than Harry’s Bar and Burger. With multiple locations and slogan of “life’s too short to eat bad food,” you’ll find names like the “mother of all burgers” and the “fungus among us #notaveggieburger.” Don’t forget to slurp on a boozy milkshake, too.

How to dine: Three of Harry’s locations are now available for both takeout and dine-in seating. Takeout orders can be made in-person or by calling.

The details: Harry’s on Main is temporarily closed, but all other locations on Federal Hill, Lincoln and Newport are open. Mission

Mission has one goal: to deliver good grub, beer and vibes. This popular eatery is family owned and all menu items are hand-crafted in-house, including a rotating selection of beers and wine. They offer all the classic burgers, served with hand cut fries.

How to dine: Takeout orders can be placed online on their website and curbside pickup is available. Dine-in is also available.

Crazy Burger Cafe and Juice Bar

Crazy Burger is just what you expect: crazy good food and burgers. This funky, family-friendly joint offers a warm environment with everything from a juice bar, a vegan menu and yes, lots of burger options.

How to dine: Service is takeout/curbside pick up only and can be ordered at tableup.com.
