2022 Best of Rhode Island Party Recap
Nearly 1,400 Rhode Islanders came out to celebrate at our sold-out event at Roger Williams Park Zoo.

As promised, we had a wild time at our annual Best of Rhode Island Party last Thursday celebrating 396 winners from all throughout the state. The sold-out event at Roger Williams Park Zoo hosted nearly 1,400 attendees, complete with a dazzling red carpet; a brilliant Alpha-Lit Marquee Letters backdrop; a thrilling 360 degree photo booth from Luke Renchan Entertainment; caricature artists; good eats and drinks from Matunuck Oyster Bar, Durk’s Bar-B-Q, India, Edgewood Cheese Shop, Wright’s Dairy Farm, Del’s Lemonade, Dunkin’ and the Zoo; lively performances by Providence World Music and Becky Bass; local boozy offerings from Gooseneck Vineyards, Newport Vineyards, Grey Sail Brewing, Narragansett Brewery (plus the first 500 through the door enjoyed a special cocktail from Grey Goose); and a number of special animal appearances (elephants and tamanduas and snakes, oh my!).

We spotted everyone from Buns and Bites‘ Laura Russillo (the reader’s choice recipient for Rhody Instagram and TikTok star) and Miss Rhode Island to Drag in RI (editor’s pick for best Sunday Funday Activity) and local weather personality Kelly Bates (the latest addition to our Best of Rhode Island Hall of Fame).
