Winner, winner, chicken dinner! This is how guests feel when they sit down for a meal at Wright’s Farm Restaurant, located at 84 Inman Rd. in Burrillville, Rhode Island. Frank Galleshaw III and his wife Susan currently run the restaurant, which can sit 1,200 people across six dining rooms. They also offer private banquet facilities in which they often host weddings and business events. The restaurant’s family style banquets have been satisfying customers with their homey feel for five decades now, and they made a point to celebrate that milestone. Wright’s Farm Restaurant’s social media pages are holding giveaways, with many opportunities to win gift cards and other prizes. On Thursday, June 2, the restaurant invited state influencers and community members for a complimentary dinner with the Galleshaws themselves, owners and operators since 1972.

When Joyce and Frank Galleshaw bought the property, they probably never imagined the expansive banquet halls and gift shop the space would become. Joyce began to sell their house-made salad dressing and handmade gifts in a little shop next to the restaurant, which quickly grew to include more and more food products and boutique items. The gift shop that exists now is roughly 4,000 square feet for guests to browse through as they wait for their table. One thing that will never change, though, is the classic menu. Parties share servings of tender roasted chicken, salad with the aforementioned Italian dressing, pasta with signature marinara sauce and famous french fries.

Wright’s has been committed to supplying the family dining experience for years, and they are also committed to giving back to their community. Every year, the restaurant gives out a $5,000 scholarship to one lucky senior from Burrillville High School. The award is named for former principal George P. Ducharme, a notable community member and Burrillville alum. This year, however, Wright’s doubled the scholarship amount, awarding it to two students in honor of the fiftieth anniversary. Recently, the restaurant also donated 100 meals to Crossroads RI, the state’s leading provider of housing and homeless services.

Wright’s Farm Restaurant invites you and your family to celebrate with them, so check out the scenic grounds and make a reservation soon.
