Throw a “Let’s Get Sheet-Faced” Party at Estela’s Lash and Skincare Studio
The girls' nights include mask skincare treaments, a chic table setup, rose, light bites and more customizable by party.
Girls’ nights are always therapeutic, but even more so when the focus is on self-care rather than insobriety. Estela Hernandez, owner of Estela’s Lash and Skincare Studio on Hope Street in Providence had the idea to put together “Let’s Get Sheet-Faced” private parties for people to get pampered together. Guests can choose from a whole menu of options from sheet and clay masks to facials, waxing and more to enjoy while hanging out with friends or family in a calm, relaxing environment. Hernandez also offers lash extensions, facials, enzyme peels, facial and body waxing, spray tans and more at her studio.
Each two-hour “Let’s Get Sheet-faced” event includes a chic table setup with two bottles of rose and cute spa head wraps for each guest. Hernandez also teams up with RI Picnic Co. luxury picnic company for elegantly designed picnics complete with place settings and centerpieces. Light appetizers and desserts can also be arranged with local businesses for refreshments. If you book a “Let’s Get Sheet-faced” party with Hernandez, you can also save 15 percent on the RI Picnic Co. package (booked separately through Christina Xayarath).
I tested out the “Let’s Get Sheet-faced”concept with several friends on a Friday night after a very busy workweek. We kicked off our shoes and got cozy on floor pillows while sipping champagne and learning about our skincare options for the evening. The RI Picnic Co. setup is stunning with a color palette of blush and champagne with pops of green, including beautiful floral arrangements. For our treatments, we chose between a Rosè sheet mask by Patchology and the Hibiscus and Neem dry mask formulated by locally owned business Soulita. After choosing our mask options, we each went into the private room to receive the mini treatment which included a cleansing and a light facial massage before the mask was applied. Once the masks were applied, we were free to go back to the table setting and enjoy snacks and cupcakes, including vegetarian empanadas provided by Little Sister on Hope Street and vegan cupcakes by Blush Bakeshop on Federal Hill. We let the masks work their magic while talking about life. Once the moisturizers set in our skin, we were free to remove the sheet masks or rinse off the clay masks.
We all left the party makeup-free and with glowing skin. We snapped pics to show off our dewy, smooth complexions. No filters necessary.
Starting price is $95 per person.
