Every Sunday through November 29, visitors can explore the waterside town of Warren during the Warren Walkabout 2020 Edition, hosted by Discover Warren. The ever-growing downtown district is celebrating community and small local businesses that represent the quaint New England town each Sunday from noon to 4 p.m.
For twenty years, the annual Warren Walkabout festival has created fun-filled memories and family enjoyment for visitors and residents as they support and celebrate local businesses, restaurants and more in the tight-knit community.
Check out what Warren has to offer during this year’s fall season, including shops and boutiques, cafes and eateries, intriguing architecture and water views, local musicians playing live music and artist demonstrations in their workshops. Food pop-ups, sidewalk sales and special store happenings can be expected as well. Wear your mask and keep social distancing in mind. Use the hashtag #WarrenWalkabout on social media to interact with other visitors.
With plenty of parking and pedestrian access, you can choose to drive, bike, take the bus or even arrive by boat to Warren. Get a free Take it Outside branded tote bag while you’re there, which includes information from retail stores and restaurants, and a “Take it Outside/Discover Warren, RI” face mask. The tote will be randomly distributed at participating stores.
