What used to be the White Wine Plaza at the Helgers Ice Cream building in Tiverton is now Rising Tides Apothecary, a boutique dedicated to bringing health and wellness to the forefront of communities.
Rising Tides Apothecary is the first of its kind in Rhode Island, with the goal to provide solution-oriented wellness and beauty products to care for the whole person. Owner and founder Katie Frank has a personal goal of providing a space for wellness.
“I want to give people permission to care for themselves, inside and out,” says Frank.
Frank created a retail-focused space featuring a relaxation lounge and treatment rooms with LED Light Therapy treatments as well as skincare and consultations by professionals. Also offered at this new business are functional beverages like tea, elderberry syrup and mushroom coffee – coffee blended with mushrooms to help improve immunity, as well as boutique skincare, specialty makeup and luxury bath and body products.
