What happens when you intertwine a flea market with an indie house plant shop and a dash of home decor and local art? You get the Bloom Flower and Home Market, an event gathering small and independent purveyors of flowers, indoor and outdoor plants, home decor, art, apothecary products, jewelry and more. The market is taking place on April 1 and 2 from noon to 6 p.m. at the WaterFire Arts Center in Providence.

Hosting more than ninety small business owners from New England and beyond, Bloom Flower and Home Market attendees can check out the vendors’ booths featuring small lifestyle items from flowers and candles to larger pieces like vintage furniture and art, just in time to help spruce up your space for spring.

While adding to your ever-growing plant collection and shopping for your new favorite pair of hand-crafted earrings, also stop by the food and drink vendors like Trinity Beer Garden and Edgewood Cheese Shop. Admission grants guests one drink ticket that’s redeemable for your choice of a complimentary beer, cocktail, coffee or ice cream from some of the sponsors of the event.

Advanced event tickets are available for $7 online, $10 at the door. Visit social media for updates, vendor info and giveaways until the end of March. WaterFire Arts Center, 475 Valley St., Providence, bloomflowerandhome.com
