National Visit the Zoo Day at Roger Williams Park Zoo

Celebrate this special day by donating a non-perishable item to the Rhode Island Community Food Bank and receive free admission to the zoo.

Leopards Snow2

Elephants, leopards and bears, oh my! This is the fifth year that Roger Williams Park Zoo and Cardi’s Furniture and Mattresses have partnered with the Rhode Island Community Food Bank to support the community. To celebrate National Visit the Zoo Day, Roger Williams Park Zoo is offering free admission on Monday, December 27 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. to any guest who brings a non-perishable food item to donate. Cardi’s is generously donating a truck and staff to help collect all food items and deliver them to the Rhode Island Food Bank.

While the weather is looking to be cold, the zoo would like to remind guests that some of its residents enjoy the cooler temperatures such as the red pandas, snow leopards and moon bears.

Close out 2021 with a trip to the zoo while supporting the community. Click here for a complete list of the Rhode Island Food Bank’s most needed items.
