Support a good cause while giving mom a little more than just a meal this Mother’s Day. Corliss-Carrington House in East Providence is hosting a special Mother’s Day picnic in support of Providence’s Women and Infants Hospital. This event features women-owned, local small businesses, specializing in everything from cocktails to fortune telling. Sample from Easy Entertainment’s delicious grazing table or grab a sweet treat from Sin Bakery. Stop by the flower crown-making station while enjoying the sweet singing of Providence’s own Miss Wednesday. Try out a custom tea creation from Botanic Providence or receive a tarot reading from Madame Katya of West of the Moon. Lounge in the grass and sunshine on an oriental rug adorned with all the picnic comforts as you enjoy your food, or sit at one of the many tables in the shade.
