Five Coffee Shops in Rhode Island for Pumpkin Spice Lattes

There is a chill in the air and the leaves are starting to change colors, so you know what that means: pumpkin spice lattes and other fall-themed caffeinated beverages are in season at Rhode Island coffee shops once again. Keep reading for a list of some of our top local java joint autumn menus.
Small Point Cafe
If you are looking for a fun and eco-friendly place to pick up a seasonal drink, Small Point Cafe is the place for you. The lattes are made to order and adorned with fancy foam art on top. If you’re looking for a little twist on the standard PSL, order Small Point’s Pumpkin Pie Latte featuring pumpkin pie syrup, espresso and milk topped with cinnamon powder. Pair your latte with one of Small Point’s grab n’ go sandwiches, like the Fed Hill, aka fresh mozzarella, tomato, pesto, mixed greens and a balsamic drizzle served on house-baked ciabatta.

The Beehive Cafe
This buzz-worthy cafe offers a wide variety of food and drink options that are locally sourced. The menu changes with the seasons and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. In addition to delicious pumpkin spice lattes, the cafe also conjures up seasonal specials like a Chai Express featuring two shots of New Harvest espresso, chai and your milk of choice.

The Nitro Bar
The Nitro Bar prides itself on locally sourced, brewed and poured specialty drinks at all three locations. Its pumpkin spice latte is a seasonal favorite made with homemade pumpkin syrup (think: pumpkin, ginger and seasonal spices perfectly simmered), espresso and your choice of milk. More seasonal specials include their whipped maple sea salt latte and the caramelized banana matcha.

Custom House Coffee
Custom House Coffee has not one, not two, not even three, but four specialty pumpkin-flavored brews to choose from: the pumpkin sweet cream cold brew, the iced pumpkin spice latte, the hot pumpkin spice latte or the iced naughty pumpkin (a mix of cold foam, milk, pumpkin chai and cold brew concentrate). You also have the option of adding the shop’s house-made pumpkin sauce to any drink on their menu, and to pair your drink with a yummy pumpkin tart.

Felicia’s Coffee
Autumn is Felicia’s middle name (or, at least it should be). The East Greenwich coffee shop not only specializes in pumpkin spice lattes, but also eggnog lattes, hot apple cider, frozen cappuccinos and more.
