Health and Hygiene Spectacular
Amenity Aid, Rhode Island’s only hygiene bank, is hosting their 10th annual fundraiser. Purchase of a ticket, which funds necessary hygiene items to Rhode Islanders in need, will get you a free cocktail, appetizers, access to a sundae bar, and a chance to hear music and speeches from Amenity Aid ambassadors.

U R My Sunshine Gala 2026
Aiming to reach their yearly goal of $100,000 in donations, the U R My Sunshine Foundation is hosting their annual gala to raise money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The gala is a formal (black-tie optional) event featuring dinner, a silent auction, speeches, and a performance from the horn band Brass Attack.

Nat Love: Black Cowboy
Step into the world of the Old West with a historical performance of the story of Nat Love, a black cowboy and writer during the Civil War. Free and open to the public, this performance, with Providence’s Prospect Terrace as a backdrop, is sure to be both entertaining and educational.

Oktoberfest!
Celebrate Oktoberfest with the German American Cultural Society! This weekend affair offers a beer garden (or biergarten), a variety of authentic German food, music from the Bavarian Brothers (featuring alpine horn) and traditional folk-dance performances from GACSRI’s own dance group.
