If you are looking for a way to get out of the house and listen to some good music, attend Mixed Magic Theatre’s fourth annual Peace Concert and Lorraine Mills Festival on October 17 from 1-5 p.m. at the Mixed Magic Amphitheater in Pawtucket. The Ampitheater is surrounded by  a sculpture garden constructed by the amazing Gerola Propellor Art Gallery.

The concert will showcase local talented performers who will be singing, dancing and more. The day will start with a vendor market at 1 p.m. where people can shop for clothing, head wraps, jewelry and much more. The concert will start at 3 p.m. and families can get some food from the Miss Lorraine Diner or Ja Patty food truck and drinks from Crooked Current Brewery or White Dog Distilling and bring it to the picnic area at the amphitheater.

Ricardo Pitts-Wiley, the production manager, urges people to come and escape from the news cycle for some time. He wants people to come together for a common agenda of peace.

“Let’s come together, listen to music and take care of each other,” Pitts-Wiley says.
