Surely you’ve grabbed a pastry or watched the resident cows being milked at Wright’s Dairy Farm at one point in your life as a Rhode Island resident. Perhaps after you’ve had your fill of the farm’s award-winning desserts, you’ve also grabbed a custom cake or tasty pizza.
If you haven’t, now’s your chance to bring those experiences to your very own table. In celebration of one of the state’s oldest family farms, Wright’s Dairy Farm is releasing a one-of-a-kind cookbook, From Cow to Kitchen – A Four Generation Cookbook from Wright’s Dairy Farm, in preservation of its history, family stories and delicious recipes for generations to come.
Since 1914, Wright’s has invested in Rhode Island, producing safe, high-quality goods for their customers. Growing from a small dairy farm to today’s community destination, this fifth-generation farm bakes nostalgia right into their treats.
From a bakery and farm that has always inspired connection and tradition, this new release comes with more than just cooking instructions. Complete with a collection of customer favorite recipes, behind-the-scenes stories, historical photographs and Wright family reflections, the cookbook offers a look behind their success that has yet to be shared. The book is an intimate insight into the lives that have shaped the cherished establishment into what it is today.
“Throughout the years, our customers have become an extension of our family,” says Ellen Puccetti, fifth-generation family owner and CEO. “This cookbook is our way of sharing the recipes, traditions and memories that have defined Wright’s for generations. We hope readers will not only enjoy the recipes but also gain a deeper appreciation for the history and values that continue to guide us today.”
With family farms disappearing throughout the country, the Wright’s cookbook remains a celebration of agricultural legacy and of the support of local businesses that continue to connect communities through their products.
In addition to the release of From Cow to Kitchen, a series of community events including book signings, media appearances, and special celebrations will take place across Rhode Island and southern Massachusetts.
