In town for a limited run, Cirque Dreams Holidaze brings a joyful, high-flying spectacle to Providence. The show is designed to captivate audiences young and old, featuring breathtaking circus performers like world-class acrobats, jugglers, musicians and dancers, alongside beloved seasonal characters all set to familiar Christmas jingles and holiday favorites.
Audience members will find themselves gripping their seats as performers pull off jaw-dropping acts that seem beyond impossible, yet remain astonishingly possible. After a brief intermission, Santa’s playful helpers pop up to gather members of the audience for a brief interaction, sparking laughter and easing up before the next round of defying gravity.
The production will run through December 21 at the Providence Performing Arts Center, 220 Weybosset St. With fresh new sets, original music and eye-catching costumes, PPAC’s stage is transformed into a whimsical winter wonderland that feels straight out of a storybook.
