Discover Newport is sponsoring “Be Our Guest,” a weekend of free and discounted admission to 19 attractions in Newport and Bristol for residents and employees of the Newport County hospitality industry.

Through the Preservation Society of Newport County, visitors can take advantage of free admission to The Breakers, Marble House, The Elms, Chateau-sur-Mer and Green Animals Topiary Garden each day while admission to Kingscote as well as the Isaac Bell House is open on June 22nd and 23rd. Visitors are required to show proof of residency or hospitality employment in order to receive free admission.

“Several times each year, the Preservation Society invites Newport County residents to be our guests at the mansions for free, and we are happy to extend the courtesy to people who work in the hospitality industry, which is so important to the local economy,” says Preservation Society CEO and Executive Director Trudy Coxe. “We hope they will take advantage of this opportunity.”

Visitors are encouraged to download the free Newport Mansions app and bring headphones to listen to the self-guided tours offered by the Newport Mansions listed above. Limited, guide-led tours of Hunter House, Chepstow, Beneath The Breakers, The Breakers Third Floor Preservation in Progress and The Elms Servant Life are not included in this offer, as each requires a timed ticket.
