Rob McClanaghan, the NBA’s most elite “workout guru,” hails from none other than Cranston, Rhode Island, having worked with MVPs and All Stars such as Steph Curry, Candace Parker and Kevin Love. McClanaghan now invites boys and girls of all levels to learn the skills that propelled these athletes to greatness.

The clinics run from June through August, with four available sessions lasting two to three days. The first three sessions cater to youth ages eight to fourteen, with the last session in August reserved for high schoolers. Catch these exciting classes at East Greenwich High School, Archie Cole Middle School or Lasalle Academy.

Rest assured that McClanaghan knows what it means to take a player all the way from gym class to the big leagues. “I have been working with Rob since I graduated high school and the results speak for themselves,” says Derrick Rose, three-time NBA All Star. “His system and guidance have made me an NBA All Star, and I will work with Rob my entire NBA career.”

McClanaghan’s own basketball career began on the courts of Syracuse University in New York, where he played in three NCAA tournaments and won a Big East Conference Championship. He then took that winning mentality and became a coach at the University of South Florida before moving on to exclusively train athletes for the NBA.

Clinic participants can expect to be put through “challenging, versatile drills,” as well as unique and focused workouts. McClanaghan delivers inspiration and guidance to all those who train under them, so this is sure to be a valuable experience for anyone who is serious about basketball. Don’t worry though, Rob Mac also promises that the clinic is sure to be a lot of fun for everyone.
