Cool down with a glass of wine after an invigorating forty-five-minute Gear Up, Wine Down session with So Co Cycle. These next-level classes are taking place at Shepherd’s Run Winery, where cyclists can take in the views of the newly opened location and its expansive grounds during an outdoor class either on Thursday, October 14 at 5 p.m. or Sunday, October 17 at 11 a.m.

The Gear Up, Wine Down classes were inspired by community building; it’s a great setting for cyclists to “get together afterwards and meet the people you ride with that you don’t really get to talk to when the lights are low and the music is loud,” says Kara Pereira, owner of So Co Cycle.

After the session, attendees can celebrate their fitness feat with a glass of wine and, on Thursday only, grab a bite to eat from the Butterhead food truck.

Before pulling out the cycling shoes, reserve your spot for the $40 session. 4780 Tower Hill Rd., South Kingstown, 401-789-0548,
