Rhode Island Company will Feed 1,000

A free dinner for those in need will take place on Dec. 21 at Rhode Island Convention Center.

Feed 1,000 will present a holiday dinner to those in need.

In the middle of all the extravagant dinners at restaurants and hotels, Feed 1,000 is making sure no one in Rhode Island is left out this holiday season.

Feed 1,000 and volunteers are hosting the semi-annual free, five-course holiday dinner at the Rhode Island Convention Center on Sat., Dec. 21 from 11 a.m.–1 p.m. The organization started in 2011 as a way for Priority Management Group (PMG) to give back to the community by offering a free holiday dinner to those in need, providing meals for more than 1,200 people that year. Since then, more than 10,000 Rhode Islanders in need have been served.

The meal is open to anyone who needs a a friendly holiday meal.
