Hear Ye, Hear Ye: Newport Folk Fest Tickets Go On Sale Today

Tickets to the Newport Folk Fest typically sell out in minutes. Minutes! (And to think George Wein, grand master of folk, almost sold the biz in 2008.) With this year marking the cultural institution’s sixty-seventh anniversary, it’s safe to say this year will likely be no different. The dates for 2026 are Friday, July 24 through Sunday, July 26. No, we don’t know who’s playing the Fort. But does it matter? Last year was awesome, featuring the likes of Bleachers’ Jack Antonoff, Hayley Williams, Rufus Wainwright, the Yeah, Yeah, Yeahs and more— just take a look at our coverage of the jam-packed festival’s highlights here. The Folk Fest committee promises once again to host “once in a lifetime performances that only Newport’s unique alchemy of intimacy and artistic community can bring.”
So, don’t be one of the suckers whining on the festival’s Facebook page, and get your tickets the minute they go live on Wednesday, February 4, at 1 p.m. sharp via DICE. We recommend you download your app and create an account well in advance, and have it open and ready to go at least five to ten minutes prior to the sale (maybe even earlier, if we’ve learned anything from the Taylor Swift Ticketmaster debacle).
Here are the going prices (all fees included, but note: parking passes are an additional cost):
3-Day General Admission Pass: $314.15
2-Day (Fri. and Sat.) General Admission Pass: $226.60
2-Day (Sat. and Sun.) General Admission Pass: $226.60
Single Day Ticket: $118.45
All children younger than ten are free with a maximum of two children attending per ticketed adult. There will be no paper or PDF tickets; all tickets will be delivered through the app at a date closer to the event.
