Light up your night and learn about industrial arts with the Steel Yard’s twentieth annual Iron Pour.

Created in 2001 by Nick Bauta and Clay Rockefeller, this award-winning industrial arts center is used and visited by thousands of artists, makers and community members seeking to immerse themselves in the creative process of fire arts. By providing workspace, tools and training, the Steel Yard helps foster a world still made by hand.

This year, the nonprofit organization is teaming up with Sims Avenue to transform the street into a vibrant showcase featuring artists, music performers, and small businesses. Witness the mesmerizing process of melting down over 2,000 pounds of iron as the skilled pour crew brings sculptures to life using fire and molten metal.

The free event has attracted the attention of many with over 5,000 attendees at last year’s pour. All ages are welcome to enjoy local artwork and vendors selling cocktails, beer, ice cream, food, hot sauce, flowers, and more.

Join in on the family fun on November 11, from 1 to 7 p.m. at the Steel Yard on Sims Avenue in Providence.
