Indulgent Recipes for an Intimate Holiday Feast

The festive menu includes acorn squash agrodolce, beef tenderloin, white chocolate panna cotta and an espresso martini.

White Chocolate Panna Cotta

6 ½-cup jars or serving dishes
3 sheets gelatin
2 ½ cups half and half
2 ½ Tbsp sugar
¼ tsp salt
8 oz white chocolate
Shaved dark chocolate and candied
cranberries to garnish

Bloom gelatin in ice water.
Bring half and half, sugar and salt to a boil. Pour over white chocolate and whisk until smooth.
Add in bloomed gelatin, strain and pour into jars. Cool to room temp.
Allow to set up overnight in fridge.
Top with shaved dark chocolate and candied cranberries and serve.

Entertaining tip: You can serve items like nuts and desserts in little individual jars to avoid lots of people touching utensils and other serving items. “Desserts like panna cotta can be pre-made in mason jars,” Roberts says.
