Celebrate Easter with these Egg Hunts and Activities All Over Rhode Island
Local businesses and establishments are hosting Easter Egg hunts and other fun activities to get you in the holiday spirit.
Easter Egg Hunt at Pine View Farm
The Scituate-based farm will host an Easter egg hunt on Saturday, April 12, from 10–11:30 a.m. and a second hunt from 12–2:30 p.m. General admission is $32.64 per child and includes their entry free to enjoy all the events the farm has to offer. Easter Egg Hunt and Family Festival at the BridgePointe Christian Church
The BridgePointe Christian Church’s East Providence location will host an egg hunt on Saturday, April 12, at 10 a.m. The hunts is free, however, pre-registration is encouraged as space is limited. The church’s egg hunt festivities will also include age-appropriate activities for for toddlers through fifth graders, including crafts and photo opportunities with the Easter bunny. Foam Blaster Easter Egg Hunt at OceanPointe Christian Church
OceanPointe Christian Church is taking Easter egg hunting to the next level on Saturday, April 12, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.. Free for families to attend, this event will take you on a walk through a maze where all hunters are to shoot foam darts at hanging eggs. If you’re lucky, you may get a chance to shoot at the Golden Egg to receive a prize. Families will receive 100 foam darts, but as an insider tip, families are encouraged to bring their own personal supply to get through the maze. Be sure to bring your Easter egg basket to collect the candy falling from the second floor. Each person attending must pre-register for their (free!) individual ticket. Camouflage Egg Hunt at the Audubon Nature Center and Aquarium
A fun and educational alternative to the Easter egg hunts we all know, the Audubon is hosting three brown egg hunts in three different natural settings (Bristol, Exeter and Seekonk) for children ages three to ten on Saturday, April 12 — the kiddos will quickly realize how well the eggs camouflage in the wild. While all participants will receive a reward, grand prizes will be given to those who find the “golden eggs.” Check-in will begin at 9:30 a.m. with the hunt kicking off promptly at 10 a.m., rain or shine. Annual Easter Egg Roll and Hunt at the Preserve
Join the Preserve for its annual easter egg roll and hunt on Sunday, April 20, from 10–11 a.m. For first timers, the egg roll is a race where children push an egg across the lawn with a long-handled spoon — the first to roll their intact egg across the finish line will earn a prize! All participating children will also receive a yummy Easter treat. Surrounding events that morning will include an appearance by the Easter Bunny, crafts and an egg hunt with more prize opportunities. Reservations are required for this fun-filled event; tickets are $25 per person for in-house guests and members and $35 for non-members (parents and family are complimentary). Annual Egg Hunt at Casey Farm
Casey Farm is hosting its seventeenth annual egg hunt on Saturday, April 19, from 10:30 a.m. till noon. Grab the kids and engage in some springtime family fun complete with a candy-filled egg hunt (split between age groups of up to four, five to seven and eight to twelve years old), farm explorations, chicken and rabbit visits, farm games, light refreshments and craft making. Inaugural Easter Egg Hunt at Track 15
Track 15 will host its inaugural Easter Egg Hunt for children ages 12 and younger on Saturday, April 19, at 10:30 a.m. Five hundred eggs filled with Easter treats will be hidden throughout the food hall, including a single golden egg with a $100 Track 15 gift card. The egg hunt is complimentary; participants are asked to bring their own bag or basket.
