Crazy Burger
True to its name, Crazy Burger offers some wild twists on the classic burger along with options for every dietary need. Choose from options such as the Whassuppy burger, where the beef patty is rubbed in fennel, sesame and wasabi and topped with brie cheese, onion rings and a wasabi-chipotle mayo, or the Quirky Cajun burger featuring a Cajun-coated grilled beef patty topped with caramelized onions and served on a bolo with Creole catsup. Sample one of their vegan options, like the Poco Loco burger which blends soy-based roasted tempeh with, wild black rice, peppers, onions and black beans griddled into a crispy tomato tortilla. Another favorite is the LunaSea burger, a freshly ground salmon-mixed-with-pistachio-pesto burger wrapped in phyllo dough and served with a side of orange-chipotle mayo (fun fact: this was one of the menu items featured in a 2012 episode of “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives.”)

Harry’s Bar and Burger
With two locations in Providence, Harry’s delicious, award-winning burgers are never far out of reach in the Creative Capital. Sold as sliders, each order comes with two small burgers plus the option to add a third. Try the M.O.A.B a.k.a. the Mother of All Burgers, which tops the Hereford beef patty with hickory-smoked bacon, hearty Portobello mushroom and fried onion rings for an additional crunch. Meanwhile, the Sloppy Harry Chili Burger combines a few American classics: hamburger, chili and sloppy Joe all in one. Grab a few extra napkins with this one! Wash it all down with one of their adults-only milkshakes.

Chomp Kitchen and Drinks
Come to any Chomp location with an appetite because these burgers do not mess around. Forget everything you ever knew about burgers. Less surely is not more when you order the Smash burger, made with smoked gouda, bacon, Chomp sauce, lettuce, tomato, house pickles. Chomp also offers an array of fried chicken sandwiches, equally as decadent as their burger menu.

Stanley’s Famous Hamburgers
Return to the classic burger at Stanley’s historic Central Falls eatery. This restaurant has been bringing Rhode Islanders comfort in burger form since 1932. Stanley’s offers all the tried-and-true favorites, like a bacon cheeseburger or a simple burger with lettuce and tomato, all for under $8. It’s truly a timeless classic.

Providence Burger Bar
Build your own burger or choose from one of the many craft burger options at this Providence staple. If you’re feeling spicy, get the blend of short rib and chuck burger house burger. Or if you’re up for sharing, order some sliders “their” way, or new Orleans-, Smoke House- or Forager-style. While burgers are what they do best, the Providence Burger Bar also has cheesesteaks, hot dogs and burritos on the menu. Top it all off with a boozy milkshake.

Serving up mouthwatering burgers in the City by the Sea, Mission’s mission is to make you feel like family. Sample one of their house-ground beef burgers, like the Micky D Burger, an upscale version of the guilty pleasure fast-food sandwich, topped with diced onions, sweet pickles, mustard and ketchup. There, There
There, There’s comfort food menu diverts slightly from Teachout’s original business plan with his popup mobile eatery Dips Dips, which was named after his spectacular French dip sandwich. There, There’s West End address is just a quick walk down the road from its original location at Moniker Brewery, while its newest branch has taken up residence in te brand new Track15 food hall. Regardless of which spot you hit up, we recommend the Dream Burger with two patties, cheese, patty sauce, onion jam and shredduce [shredded lettuce] on a griddled sesame bun.
