5 Places in Rhode Island to Sip Fall-Themed Cocktails

October is here and with fall comes the sights, sounds and tastes of the season. Check out these local spots for delicious yet creative fall-themed cocktails.

 

Caleb and Broad

The Autumn Bonfire made with xicaru mezcal, sea flame spiced whiskey, cinnamon simple, lemon, lime and tiki bitters is sure to warm you up on a crisp fall night. The drink costs $13 and pairs well with bar snacks like tot poutine and fried Brussels. Caleb and Broad also serves up a fantastic pumpkin cold foam martini and a maple walnut old fashioned. And for the designated drivers, there’s no FOMO here: you can indulge in as many sweet potato ‘pain killer’ mocktails as you like.

Kimi’s

The space may be on the smaller side, but its cocktail flavors are anything but. The West Side staple just announced a new fall menu of hard hitters like the Canebrake with apple brandy, montenegro, yellow chartreuse and bitters, and the delectable Banana Bread Espresso Martini with coffee vodka, espresso, banana bread syrup and Irish cream.

The Walnut Room 

This classy cocktail bar is always a mood with its cozy, low-light interior, so it’s no surprise that it has a few spooky season specials. Go for the Straight to Hell, a smoky mezcal-based concoction mixed with ginger and framboise liquors and a dash of lemon juice, or the more tart Season of the Witch, made with cranberry gin, genepy and dry curacaolemon juice.
