How to Pull Off Punchy Wallpaper, According to the Experts

Bold stripes, bright colors, modern florals: This isn't your grandma's dining room wallpaper.

Globally Inspired, Locally Designed
Design is in Jonathan Caldwell’s blood. The son of renowned wallpaper and textile designer, Anna French, Caldwell grew up in Europe, studied painting in London and now runs his own Providence-based wallpaper design business called Mayflower Wallpaper, with collections inspired by his travels. The paper is manufactured in Valley Forge, Pennsylvania. So, what’s so special about papered walls? According to Caldwell, white walls sell houses, but “if you have wallpaper, it becomes your home. Paper gives people the personality to make it theirs.”
