An innovative Summer Camp focusing on string instruments: violin, viola, cello and bass. Students, 4th grade and higher, with at least 1-year of orchestral string experience, will experience group ensemble sessions, fiddling, games, improvisation and more. Faculty presentations are included in the program. Community String Project’s Summer String Camp runs Mondays-Thursdays, July 8-18, from 9-noon. The Camp is located at CSP’s offices at the Bristol State House, 240 High St., Bristol, RI, 2nd floor. The State House is adjacent to Bristol’s Town Common – perfect for outdoor classes and breaks.
Fees: $125 plus a $25 CSP instrument rental (if required). Students eligible for free and reduced lunch: $30 (includes instrument).
