Bittersweet Farm

Bittersweet Farm Children’s Farm Camp is now in its tenth year! It is a unique opportunity for your child to experience and engage in farm activities. These hands-on experiences provide the children with invaluable learning opportunities.

Children will learn to safely interact with, feed, groom, and care for various animals. Grow and harvest healthy fruits and vegetables while working in the gardens. Participate in community-based experiences such as holding a weekly farm stand benefitting a local Rhode Island Children’s charity and hosting a high tea with a local Nursing home. Engage in a variety of nature and farm-inspired crafts and activities, including creating handmade soaps with goat’s milk, fresh herbs, and botanicals, dyeing t-shirts with natural colors, making candles, and more.

Wild Ones is a weekly nature, sensory, and play gathering held each Friday at Bittersweet Farm for children aged 0-5 years that creates a space for outdoor play-based learning, exploration, connection, and community.
