Stock also emphasizes small batch and U.S. made products, featuring dozens of Rhode Island makers and craftsmen whose quality goods relate to food and drink. The only independent full service kitchen store in Providence, Stock opened in November of 2012. It is the first retail effort of Jan Faust Dane, a former food writer and professional forager, so you know it is the real deal. Open: 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. seven days a week, plus additional holiday hours.
