5/18–19 SCLT Plant Sale

Why: Kick off the growing season at the freshest fundraiser around. Southside Community Land Trust’s twenty-seventh annual rare and unusual plant sale features roughly 20,000 organic seedlings of hundreds of varieties of sustainably grown annuals, perennials, vegetables and more. Proceeds support the nonprofit’s education and community outreach programs.

5/16 Martinis for Melanoma

Why: Sip a martini with family and friends while bringing awareness to melanoma and the dangers of tanning. Guests may also partake in a raffle and silent auction and munch on tasty appetizers and delectable desserts. Not only will you raise awareness, but you’ll raise a glass to a worthy cause.
