Through 8/18 Shakespeare in the Park
Why: Bring a lawn chair or a blanket, pack some snacks and head to Westerly to see Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” in the park. This childlike fantasy, performed by Colonial Theatre, can be seen through the eyes of the often-forgotten Changeling Child who is at the center of the fight between the celestial parents, Oberon and Titania. Accessible to audiences all over, this comedic play has unrequited love, rivalry, magic and more.

8/16 Lobster Boil and BBQ
Why: Keep the summer season alive with a traditional New England lobster boil on the beach. Listen to the sound of the rolling waves kiss the shoreline and take in the stunning, uninterrupted views of the Atlantic Ocean.
