Rhode Island Monthly’s Design Awards Are Back!

Rhode Island Monthly’s Design Awards honor professional architects, interior designers and builders in our state. Entries will be accepted Jan. 1–31, 2026, on RIMonthly.com. Winners will be featured in the spring 2026 issue of Nest, Rhode Island Monthly’s home and design magazine.
About This Year’s Awards
The annual Design Awards program will consider projects in these categories:
- Residential New Construction/Renovation
- Residential Interior Design
- Commercial New Construction/Renovation
- Commercial Interior Design
- Historic Renovation – Residential
- Historic Renovation – Commercial
- Kitchen
- Bathroom
- Outdoor Space/Landscape
- Unique Indoor Space
How to enter:
Beginning Jan. 1, 2026, visit RIMonthly.com, create an account, and upload project briefs or descriptions of your finest, most recently completed projects, along with high-resolution photos (300 dpi) in jpg or tiff format (lightly retouched is OK). Entrants are responsible for securing rights to use submitted photography for publication in the spring 2026 issue of Nest. Previous Rhode Island Monthly Design Awards winning entries are not eligible.
Rhode Island projects only, please. With each submission, include the category you want it to be considered in, and a written description of the project’s goals and processes. Projects can be submitted to more than one category. Please include your name, the name of your business, a phone number, as well as contact information for any additional participants to be credited in the project.
