A Morning Flight That Opens the World

The JetBlue service from PVD to JFK operates seven days a week, offering convenient morning departures between 6:00 and 7:15 a.m. and evening returns between 11:00 and 11:30 p.m. Flight times vary slightly every few weeks, but the schedule is designed to give travelers the ideal connection window—just enough time to reach connecting gates comfortably without long layovers.

From PVD, passengers can reach JFK in just 40 minutes, then connect to JetBlue’s expansive network of 30-plus destinations, including major U.S. cities, as well as international hotspots.

To make the connection even more appealing, JetBlue has lowered fares on the route, starting as low as $79–$89 each way, and refined the schedule to ensure smooth transitions. Most travelers connecting through JFK will have layovers under two and a half hours, minimizing downtime and maximizing convenience.

For many Rhode Islanders, the alternative has been driving to Boston or taking a train to catch an international flight. Now, they can begin their journey minutes from home, avoiding tunnel traffic, long security lines, and the hassle of parking at Boston Logan International Airport.

Expanding Horizons from Rhode Island

The partnership represents a new kind of collaboration for JetBlue, which typically focuses on nonstop and one-stop routes rather than regional connections.

But the partnership is more than a single route—it’s a step toward solving one of the biggest frustrations travelers mention: limited nonstop destinations. While Rhode Island T. F. Green International Airport already offers a growing mix of over 35 nonstop routes across the U.S.and internationally, this daily JFK flight dramatically expands what’s possible.

Rhode Islanders can also use the JetBlue flight to JFK to connect to any other of the 84 different airlines that serve JFK with 437,000 annual flights. PVD is only a 40-minute hop away from 80 different countries and 195 different cities. Because the PVD-JFK fares are so affordable, the combination with the fares from JFK to anyplace in the world is often lower than the fares from Boston.

This new connection also comes at the perfect time. As Rhode Islanders begin planning winter escapes to warm-weather destinations or spring trips to Europe, the JFK partnership provides a convenient and cost-effective way to explore farther without adding stress to the journey.

For an airport already recognized as the #1 airport in the U.S. by Travel + Leisure, this partnership reflects PVD’s continued focus on accessibility, comfort and traveler choice. From curbside to connection, the process is simple: park easily, breeze through security and catch your early morning flight to New York knowing that, within hours, you could be in California or Costa Rica.
