Rocky Hill Country Day School invites the community to “Think Outside” on our waterfront campus in East Greenwich. We reimagine a curriculum that takes place outside of the traditional classroom, but also encourage the community to connect with nature and be stewards of their space. With classes spanning Nursery through 12th grade, we provide students with opportunities for individualized learning to equip students with the skills and confidence needed for college and beyond. These opportunities complement classrooms with dynamic teachers that challenge kids to do more than memorize as they collaborate, problem solve, and develop the confidence to take on bigger challenges every day. The Bay is as much a part of the campus as the buildings and we constantly are there for lessons or a kayak trip and we frequent the waterfront for both classes and activities.

Purposefully small class sizes allow Rocky Hill’s passionate educators to know each student and celebrate their unique strengths in an environment that focuses on intentionality, meaningful coursework, and navigating real world experiences. Every day, lunch prepared in our scratch kitchen fuels kids for a day of exploring passions, hands-on learning, and community building. In addition to a wide range of athletics, service learning, and arts, strong parent-teacher partnerships pave the way for success in this rigorous academic environment. Rocky Hill is educating students to think outside of the traditional classroom to be ready for the challenges of today and tomorrow.
