Chapel Grille
Chapel Grille
Chapel Grille
Cuisine Type: Mediterranean
Price Scale: $24–$30, $17–$23

Built from chunky stone and adorned with colorful stained glass, Chapel Grille has its fair share of ambience. The main dining room gives off an Art Deco/hunting lodge vibe, featuring an enormous stone fireplace, golden mosaics and dark wood accents. But even the “chapel” in Chapel Grille is also present: It’s impossible not to feel a sense of awe and worship while consuming the filet of sole. Stuffed with shrimp and scallops and dowsed in lobster sauce, this dish is a religious experience all its own. If you’re feeling more peckish than usual, hit the raw bar or tack the Hot Italian Buns (think large, subtly seasoned beef, veal and pork meatballs cooked inside crispy homemade focaccia bread) onto your order. Did we mention that the restaurant also has a lengthy wine list (a whopping eleven pages) for both the amateur and more experienced sommelier among us? We’re 100 percent sold.

We are open for lunch Tuesday – Friday.

What to eat: The seafood-stuffed filet of sole— read the description above and you’ll salivate.
Who to bring: A special someone you want to impress.
What to wear: Your Sunday best (but business casual should cut it too).
The drink situation: Classic cocktails and an incredible wine list.
