Wicked Woods Pumpkin Walk
A perfect fall activity in Warwick is open once again at the end of October, which is the Wicked Woods Pumpkin Walk! A perfect blend of enchanted haunted, this trail is a must. There are over 300 hand carved and lit pumpkins, along with torches and campfires to light the path. Halloween treats will be present, and if you look closely, you might catch a living statue!

4th Annual Fall Fest and Pumpkin Stroll
Dress up in your Halloween costumes and get ready to enjoy free donuts and cider while strolling through pumpkin art led trails. Locals submit their pumpkins for the stroll and attendees are tasked with deciding which one is the best. Games and activities for kids are also offered. Want to get in on the pumpkin fun? A limited amount of pumpkins will be available on site for people to decorate in the moment. Prizes are offered to the top pumpkins!

Japan-American Friendship Festival
A day celebrating the relationship between the United States and America, part of Newport’s biennial Newport–Shimoda Sister City Celebration. The day will honor Japanese culture with the sounds of taiko drums, martial arts demonstrations, kimono photo moments, origami, Japanese inspired food and more! A cosplay parade and family costume contest will also be taking place, where participants are encouraged to showcase their imaginative attire.

History That Doesn’t Suck at Uptown theatre
We’re getting closer to the 250th anniversary of our country’s founding, so it’s time to take a look back at all that’s happened since. In 100 minutes, this show will educate audiences on the history of the United States of America, in a way that doesn’t suck. Professor Greg Jackson takes the lead and through live music and multimedia the show will make you say goodbye to fifth period history class and hello to history that doesn’t suck.

Spooky Afternoon Tea at Mills Tavern
Spend the afternoon in a setting of haunted elegance while sipping tea and indulging in bites that scream autumn. Freshly baked scones, orange shortbread, devil’s food cupcakes, pumpkin and Boursin sandwiches and confit chicken salad sandwiches are just a few of the offerings made especially for this event by Executive Chef Ed Bolus and Executive Pastry Chef Samantha Del Arroyo. Catch up with friends, take in the atmosphere and embrace fall.
